pretty mutch what i wrote above...

i got 4 gb ddr3 ram in my laptop.....but it says it uses only 2.1gb ram i mean wtf? why?

i already tried to change that via the msconfig window, but without any result....
ram itself should be ok, because its as new a my laptop (2weeks now)

cant change any bios settings because there are none .....

i rly wanna know why my laptop only uses half of his ram.... :|
ideas are welcome

My friend once had same problem, somehow his comp locked him out of using 100% of his ram, so instead of using all of it, he only got to use 50% of it.

I cant remember how he fixed it, i,ll try asking him

For 4 gig ram you need 64 bit. Think 32 bit goes up to 3 gig or smth.

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and duct tape. if it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. if it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
